The delay of the UK leaving the European Union has impacted transaction volumes in Q1 2019.

Compared to the same period last year, total volumes have fallen by 40%. Office remains the most popular asset class accounting for 41% of all transaction volumes during the quarter. Regionally, not all areas have experienced a decline in investment volumes  – both the North East of England and Northern Ireland have seen volumes increase compared to Q1 2018.
